Hey, this journal now has 300 friends! It seems like just a short while ago I was celebrating the 200th, so this is especially amazing to me. Big thanks to everyone who follows my work - you guys are the reason I do this :)

So clearly I do not have enough to do (*g*) because I've started up a new icontest - britcomicontest. As the name suggests, it's a weekly icon contest for British comedies in general, not any specific show - each week, a different show or actor will be featured. If you're interested in participating, or just want to see what lovely and hilarious icons get produced, please sign up! With any luck, I'll be able to post the first challenge in the next week or two. Thanks!

Just a note that the bladdericontest Last Icon-Maker Standing contest is taking sign-ups for Round 2, over here. Any and all interested icon-makers are welcome to join us! :)

I've also signed up for a new contest, houseiconathon. It's not a LIMS contest, it's point-based instead, with the person having the most points at the end of the 'season' (~24 challenges) being declared the winner. The first challenge is to begin today, I think, but if you're interested you can still get in on the ground floor :)

Here are the icons I made for bladdericontest's Last Icon Maker Standing, Round 1. I came in second, by one vote :) My thanks to anyone who turned out to cast a vote! Anyway, these are the various icons I submitted, plus a few more that I made but didn't submit. Apparently Round 2 will begin sign-ups shortly, and I'm sure I'll be participating again, it was fun, with a variety of interesting challenges. Most of the caps were supplied by bladdericontest.
